Originally from New York, Ashley Joanna now resides in Belgium. She possesses a talent for capturing people's photographs, coupled with a genuine interest in their stories. Her portfolio includes subjects ranging from renowned chefs and athletes to artists and indigenous tribes.

Ashley's photography has been showcased worldwide as part of campaign launches for Olympus Cameras. Additionally, she has received several awards, including the title of Best New Beer Writer, 2 years in a row, for her project titled 'Humans of Belgian Beer’, written for Belgian Smaak. This project
combines photography and storytelling, shedding light on the individuals within the Belgian beer industry.

In her most recent ongoing project, ’Menschen aus Ostbelgien’ she learns about the culture of East Belgium by taking pictures and sharing stories of local people. This project has been exhibited in Brussels, St. Vith and Atlanta, Georgia; showcasing the interesting lives and traditions of the people from the region.
